Host Families - Avrils Language

Most of our host families have been taking students for Avril’s Language Centre for many, many years. They are all wonderful families who treat students as part of their families for the duration of their stay. They come in all shapes and sizes: some families have young children, some have grown-up children and others might be couples or even single people living alone.

If you have any special requests regarding families, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Irish families might have a different culture to you. They might eat at different times or they might cook different foods to what you are used to. They might enjoy spending their free time in a different way too. It is all part of the experience of living and studying in a new country, so while you are here try to enjoy the differences and make the most of them.
